Our Story

Support Safe Haven Animal Shelter & Wildlife Center, a no-kill animal shelter to be built in Beekman, New York. It is our goal to put our more than 25 years of experience to work by becoming the educational and rehabilitation center for both pets and wildlife in Dutchess County.

Currently, there is no wildlife center in the area to bring sick, orphaned or injured wildlife. In more than 140 years, there has only been one large animal shelter in the county area. This no longer serves the need of a county our size.  The community has expressed support for the local animal population.
