We accept most gently used or new household, pet, and jewelry items as donations.  We also accept women's clothing and shoes in season.  We take holiday items as long as the holiday is no more than 2 months away.

WE ACCEPT DONATION ON FRIDAY, SATURDAY AND SUNDAY ONLY.  Receipts will be given upon request.

Hours: Saturdays 10 AM - 1 PM

Those in need may visit our Pet Food Pantry monthly to receive pet food. There is an income requirement and proof of income is required yearly.  We rely on donations, therefore, quantities are limited. Pet food donatiions are always appreciated. If your organization is interested in holding a pet food drive for us, please contact Josephine Santoro, Pet Food Pantry Manager  -  josephine@safehaven4animals.org or leave a message at 845-392-5300.  Pet food can ONLY be given out on Saturdays when our pet food pantry is open.  Thrift shop volunteers cannot give out pet food on other days.  Please call to make sure we are open.  We are a 100% volunteer organization.  If we do not have volunteers or it's a major holiday, we do not open.  If we are closed, please come back the following Saturday.

You can purchase our t-shirts below or in our shop. Our t-shirts have our logo on the left front side. On the back is a larger version of our logo, our website and our slogan ("Rescuing one animal will not change the world ... but for that animal the world will be forever changed."). Our t-shirts come in 4 colors, blue, navy, maroon and pink and in 6 sizes. Adult small, medium, large, x-large, xx-large and kids size medium. Adult sizes small through xx-large are $15 and kids size medium only in light blue only is also $15.
